What I Eat In a Day

as a Bikini Athlete & Gut Health Detox Coach

  • Daily Greens

    Daily Gut Health Greens

I start my days with Greens! And I tend to switch between two different options, depending on how busy my morning is.

Non-busy mornings: I’ll juice at home. This usually consists of a green juice of celery, cucumber, and cilantro or parsley. And I usually throw a scoop of Superfood Greens to start my day with as much nutrition as possible. I also love the L-glutamine that I found on Amazon that is amazing for healing the gut. I just add a serving to my drink because it has no flavor.

Busy Mornings: I’ll throw one stick of Green Synergy Elixir into my water and run out the door. I also add my L-glutamine even on busy days because it’s that good. This blend has fruits and vegetables, probiotics, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes, and hyaluronic acid for skin health all in one to-go stick. I love these easy travel sticks and so do my very busy professional clients.

  • Breakfast

Protein Oatmeal: I’ll take 1 serving of arbonne Vanilla or Strawberry plant-based protein cooked with water and topped with fresh berries.

  • Snack

When I get hungry between breakfast and lunch, I usually crave something sustainable like a Feel Fit Protein Bar or vegetables with hummus or guacamole.

  • Lunch

Lunch typically includes some version of salad or soup, where I have a bunch of veggies, with a hearty grain and either a plant protein like tempeh or lentils or a fish like shrimp or salmon.

Around 2 pm most days is when I get that dragging feeling where I could use a nap break! So instead of coffee, I have an Energy Fizz.

My favorite flavors are Mango Peach, Raspberry, and Green Apple.

  • Snack

In the afternoons I’m usually finishing up my workout and I love following up my exercise with a post workout shake. My absolute favorite shake for keeping me full, is the Essential Meal in Vanilla. Because it comes in at 200 calories of vegan protein from Pea, Hemp Seed, Pumpkin Seed, Quinoa and Rice, and has 24g of protein from all 9 essential amino acids, I never feel hungry until dinner.

  • Dinner

Dinner is a special time in our family because that’s usually the time the my husband, Charles, comes home from work and we eat together. Therefore, many of our evenings are spent eating out. Yes! I love eating to just like the rest of you! Our favorite dining our spot is sushi. We usually get Buckwheat vegetable soup, sushi rolls in brown rice. Anytime we make dinner at home, we usually go for hearty lentil curry stews, shrimp on gluten free pasta, or a one-pot dish of whatever leftovers I can find.

And because eating out can cause me some digestive discomfort, I always bring a gut health stick with me, which gives me probiotics, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes to help my body process the food efficiently and lead to less bloating.

  • Tea & TV

Most evenings our family enjoys tea and tv. I usually drink a digestive aid tea and drink a small glass of my probiotic formula. Because our digestion slows as we get closer to sleep, the evenings are best for zero calorie foods to aid quality digestion. Therefore, here are some of our favorite bedtime teas: Cleantox, CCF, Gut Cleansing Chai.
